The Philippines-based Southeast Asian Regional Centre for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) video contest that showcases local food production practices by young people during the COVID-19 pandemic is now on. According to a SEARCA’s press release AKP received this morning, dubbed “Youth COVIDeo Contest,” the competition is open to Cambodians and other Southeast Asians aged 15-35 with group or individual entries. Gregorio, Director of the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA), as Chairperson of the CHED Technical Panel for Agriculture (TPA). Director Glenn Gregorio of the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) was appointed by the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) as chairman of its Technical Panel for Agriculture (TPA) to lead reforms in the agriculture curriculum. Agri panel reconstituted to reduce poverty, boost growth

The Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) has re-formed its technical panel for agriculture (TPA) as part of a trend to make agriculture a preeminent policy tool in poverty reduction and economic growth. “The reconstitution of technical panels is anchored on the need to align higher education to standards, priorities and needs in international, regional and national settings.
