Risk-based Food Control Programs in Southeast Asia: A Regional Seminar-Workshop

Description

This seminar-workshop will review the level of awareness and the extent to which steps have been taken to ensure that food safety measures in the Southeast Asian region are based on sound science.  The training workshop will provide a platform for multi-sectoral exchange on food safety issues and challenges facing key players in food and agriculture in the region.

Intended Participants

Representatives from the government, industry, and the academe.  A regional non-government organization will also be invited. The seminar-workshop will accommodate a maximum of 30 participants  from Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor Leste, and Vietnam.
