The Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) in partnership with the Regalo ng Kilit Foundation Inc. (RKFI) held a five-day First International Conference on School plus Home Garden cum Biodiversity Enhancement Enterprise (SHGBEE1) in Coron, Palawan on Tuesday, November 8. SEARCA evaluates TESDA program on farm schools

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) has tapped the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) to evaluate its Program on Accelerating Farm School Establishment (PAFSE). Implemented nationwide by TESDA in close coordination with the Department of Agriculture-Agriculture Training Institute (DA-ATI) and the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), PAFSE encourages farmers and other private individuals to set up farm schools across the country. International travel mart focuses on ecotourism

The Philippines, through the International School for Sustainable Tourism (ISST), is set to host the International Ecotourism Travel Mart (IETM 2023), the world’s first ecotourism-themed expo. The Philippines will take global environmental stage once more as it hosts the International Ecotourism Travel Mart (IETM), the world’s first-ever and biggest ecotourism-themed expo from March 29 to April 2, 2023 in Silang, Cavite. Assistant professor Adrian Mausig, associate dean of the Institute of Agriculture of Marinduque State College (MSC), received a Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) scholarship grant on Transitional Mobility Program to be held at the Faculty of Agriculture, Kasetsart University in Bangkok, Thailand from November 1 to 30, 2022, according to MSC President Diosdado Zulueta.
