Two hundred fifty-six respondents were surveyed, 64 of whom were school superintendents and 193 were vocational teachers from three school sizes, large, medium, and small.
The t-test as used to tedst equality between mean of each variable. Analysis of variance and Scheffe's statistical analysis were also used to assess the mean of every school size of each variable.
Findings showed that most supervisory functions and techniques, and perceptions of the school superintendents and vocational teachers did not significantly differ.
School superintendents and vocational teachers of the three schools did not significantly differ in their perceptions on supervisory functions and techniques. There were significant differences between supervisory functions perceived as actually performed and those that ought to be performed as well as of techniques actually used and their degree of helpfulness.
